Weiler Tiger Ceramic type 1 portable snagging wheels deliver the next evolution in technology for portable foundry grinding. The ceramic grains leverage an engineered ultra-fine microstructure that self-sharpens for ultra-fast grinding. To ensure maximum product safety, these wheels are designed with two layers of fiberglass reinforcement. The reinforcement is embedded inside the wheel to reduce edge chipping and promote more consistent product wear.

The type 1 shape features a flat face with a narrow contact area, making them ideal for targeted heavy grinding and stock removal applications. These snagging wheels are designed for use on medium to high power pneumatic and high frequency electric straight grinders. The 5/8” arbor hole includes a precision phenolic resin insert to ensure a tight fit on the tool, minimal vibration, and an enhanced operator experience.
