The silicon carbide abrasive grains are sharp, hard, and friable, making them very efficient in controlling metal removal on burn-in and burn-on sand castings. The type 11 flared shape features a flat grinding surface, making them ideal for heavy metal removal, grinding, transitioning, rough beveling and removing cracks and flaws. A 1 inch rim provides a medium grinding zone for maximum material removal in targeted areas and a 5/8-11 inch arbor allows for quick spin-on, spin-off product changeover.
