Ultra Heavy-Duty Disc Withstands High Pressure Applications Standard Abrasives Quick Change Ceramic Pro Resin Fiber Disc is the fastest cutting, most efficient disc of all the Standard Abrasives coated quick change products. It has a convenient TS metal button attachment that provides safe, quick disc changes—you simply twist the disc to unlock it from the holder. The disc is constructed with a stiff fiber backing and resin-bonded premium ceramic abrasive to provide the rigidity and heat-resistance needed for heavy stock removal and high-pressure weld leveling.

Ceramic Pro Provides an Outstanding Cut-Rate Ceramic Pro abrasive grain fractures at a high rate to continually expose fresh sharp edges for optimal cutting performance. In most cases, it surpasses conventional abrasives in durability, disc life and cut-rate, offering greater throughput in less time.

Using a Quick-Change Fiber Disc Fiber discs are heavy-duty discs ideal for weld removal, grinding, and blending large and small areas of metal surfaces. They feature a tough, stiff backing made from vulcanized fiber that resists wear and can handle tough grinding applications. For optimal performance, the disc should be used with a holder pad of the appropriate density for the application—a lighter density holder pad for fine grade grinding applications, and a harder density holder pad for coarse grade grinding applications (holder pads sold separately). Using the correct holder pad for the application ensures that the abrasive mineral will continually re-sharpen, maximizing the life of the abrasive.
