Floor sanding discs made with silicon carbide on heavy-duty E-Weight paper backing are available in widths from 5" to 20". 7" Discs also available in Premium Zirconia with Cloth backing.
#12 (4-1/2) Grit through #24 (3) Grit have an extremely strong combination backing which enables the paper to hold up against wood floors in bad condition.
#36 (2) Grit through #120 (3/0) Grit have a heavy duty E-Weight paper backing for durability and finish sanding on wood floors.
The 7” Edger Discs are excellent for general refinishing of wood floors. Edge sanding discs are available in the Silicon Carbide on Heavy-Duty E Weight Paper or Premium Zirconia on Cloth backing. The edger discs blend the floor perimeter with the rest of the floor to prevent “picture framing” when applying stain. The 7” Edger Discs are for use with an Edge Sander, a type of disc sander that refinishers use to sand a wood floor.
