The new Norton Merit Pink R928 flap wheels combines a superior ceramic grain for faster cutting and longer life over traditional aluminum oxide specialties. The X-weight poly cotton backing adds more durability than traditional cotton back products for those hard-to-reach applications, and with its grinding aid, R928 cuts cooler, and faster on hard-to-grind materials.
Flap wheels designed with 1/4" mounted steel shanks are very durable, long-lasting for demanding, heavy stock removal applications. These shanks run through the wheel creating better balance, a reduction of chatter, and reduced operator fatigue.
Flap wheels are an ideal choice for a wide variety of blending, deburring and finishing applications common in the metal fabrication, welding and polishing industries.
