Norton SG R981 coarse grit cloth file belt is an excellent sanding belt choice for even the most demanding coarse grit applications, and it's especially well-suited for use on hard-to-grind alloys. This belt features the latest seeded gel ceramic alumina abrasive, designed to provide you with a superior, aggressive cut rate for the entire life of the belt. The Y-weight polyester, waterproof cloth backing offers reduced tearing and fraying for better consistency and a longer life than traditional paper backing. A special lubricant and coating minimize loading and provide cooler, burn-free grinding.
