AA Abrasives presents the Dimple Wheel. AA-Flex wheels allow for one step grinding and finishing. These abrasive wheels are also known as The "Dimple" Wheel - they are constructed of aluminum oxide grains bonded to a strong, slightly flexible fiberglass reinforcing and have dimples on the grinding surface. AA-Flex wheels will remove stock much like a resin bond depressed center wheel and finish like a resin fiber disc. These wheels are excellent for use on stainless steel and aluminum.

Demonstrated here - in a metal fabricating shop --the dimple wheel is used to create a uniform finish on stainless steel. It is a 4-1/2 x 1/8 x 7/8- A - Medium -Type 27 disc - Item # 40707. Used on a Metabo W8-115 angle grinder the "Dimple" Wheel can grind and finish the surface of a stainless steel railing.
