AA Abrasives sanding belts in premium aluminum oxide can be used for a wide range of metal and wood finishing applications. Premium aluminum oxide sanding belt has a Y-weight poly/cotton backing making these the ideal abrasive sanding belts for soft metals and woods. Premium A/O Sanding Belts have more grain and a heavier backing than the Standard Aluminum Oxide Sanding Belts.

Keep your abrasive belts in optimal condition - a light bodied grease applied to the belt surface will reduce loading and greatly enhance the belt life and performance when grinding soft, malleable nonferrous materials such as aluminum, brass, bronze and copper. Using a rubber belt cleaning stick to remove wood and other non-metallic materials that build up on sanding belts during use will remove unwanted materials and increase cut rate and overall belt life.
