3M™ Cubitron™ II Stikit™ Cloth Disc 900DZ features ceramic 3M Precision-Shaped Grain, a revolutionary advancement in abrasive technology. The triangular shaped ceramic mineral is designed to slice through the substrate, rather than gouging or “plowing” like conventional abrasives, resulting in a disc that cuts up to 2x faster than conventional abrasives. The J-weight cloth backing delivers outstanding tear resistance, durability and a consistent, uniform finish on a variety of substrates.
Specially Coated for Efficient Sanding We applied a static resistant coating on the disc to provide additional dust control needed for sanding some wood surfaces. The disc is resin bonded for heat-resistance. Powered by 3M Precision-Shaped Grain 3M Precision-Shaped Grain is a proprietary ceramic mineral that continually fractures to create fresh cutting edges on the surface of the workpiece, ensuring an exceptionally fast and sustained cut. 3M Precision-Shaped Grain is designed to stand up to high pressure production environments even on the toughest materials. This innovative abrasive grain is ideal for use with stainless steel and whitewood sanding. These discs enable operators to do more work in less time, for significant gains in both ergonomics and productivity. Easy On, Easy Off Cloth-backed discs are known for their durability and flexibility. They're a good first choice when working with metal or for heavy wood stock removal. 3M™ Stikit™ discs come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside so that attaching them to your 3M™ Stikit™ disc pad is as simple as pressing on a sticker. And because the adhesive is pressure sensitive, the disc can be peeled off of the disc pad just as easily, leaving a clean surface for your next disc. A convenient liner prevents the adhesive from becoming dirty and keeps the backing sticky until applied.
