- Head top can be used for most applications including arc gouging, plasma cutting, grinding, MIG, TIG, and GMAW welding
- When used in conjunction with NIOSH approved air source, is designed to help protect the user from certain airborne contaminants, and certain head, eye, face, and welding hazards
- Compatible with 3M™ Adflo, 3M™ Versaflo™ Powered Air Purifying Respirators, and 3M™ Supplied Air
- Compatible with 9100XXi ADF with Natural Color Technology
The 3M™ Versaflo™ Respiratory Helmet Assembly M 409SG, M Series Welding Shield includes a leather shroud and flame resistant helmet cover, and is designed to help protect the user from certain airborne contaminants, and certain head, eye, face, and welding hazards. It has a lower weight and larger viewing area than the L 905SG, and is suitable for most operations commonly associated with plasma cutting, grinding, MIG, TIG, and GMAW welding. The durable leather shroud offers additional protection against welding arcs. It can be combined with the 3M™ Versaflo TR 600 PAPR or 3M™ Speedglas™ Adflo PAPR and cartridges to build a complete welding system.
