Flexible diamond products, including 3M™ Flexible Diamond PSA Cloth Sheet 6008J, are designed to help you achieve improved finishes on a wide range of hard-to-grind materials — without sacrificing cut rates. A metal bond securely anchors micron-graded diamonds to a premium flexible backing in an open dot pattern. This provides durability and long life, while allowing conformance to a variety of contours. In addition, the open dot pattern produces aggressive cutting action while reducing loading. Sheets are a handy solution for manual sanding with a sanding block and provide easy application to a backup pad.
3M™ Flexible Diamond PSA Cloth Sheet 6008J is commonly used for a variety of hard to grind materials. It's uniquely suited for contour finishing, because the flexible backing enables the sheet to move over the surface.
These diamond abrasive sheets are equipped with a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) to provide ease of use when attaching to the tool. The PSA backing works much like a sticker, whereby operators can stick the disc to the tool by applying light pressure, and this swift tool attachment helps enhance productivity and throughput. The PSA attachment holds the adhesive securely in place and lays flat for a finer result.
