- 3M™ Peltor® Banded Hearing Protector, used to help protect hearing when exposed to noises exceeding 85 decibels, offers users a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 28 in addition to being a comfortable yet economical alternative to earmuffs. Soft, washable plugs help provide hearing protection without additional weight. Each plug easily detaches and can be washed. The flexible band offers multiple wearing positions, such as under the chin and behind the neck, making them compatible with hats and caps.
