3M™ Stikit™ discs are high-quality, coated abrasive products with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backside to allow easy application and removal. A Stikit™ disc must be pressed onto a backup pad (also called a disc pad and sold separately) that is attached to a rotary disc sander or random orbital sander. Stikit™ disc rolls make it easy to tear off a single disc, and save you time and money by eliminating a liner.
3M™ Ceramic Abrasive Grain is a ceramic mineral designed using a 3M™ proprietary process to enhance toughness and hardness of the grain. 3M™ Stikit™ Paper Disc Roll 763U products feature aluminum oxide blended with 3M ceramic grain for a harder, longer-lasting abrasive. Perfect for moderate to heavy stock removal as well as finishing, ceramic abrasives are engineered to cut fast and handle intense heat and stress applications. Ceramic/aluminum oxide blend surpasses aluminum oxide abrasives in cut-rate and durability and makes an excellent choice for difficult grinding applications.
