AA Abrasives 2" Type R Extra Coarse Silicon Carbide Strip-It Disc Black
Silicon Carbide Black Strip-It disc is for general purpose application. Softer grade compared to Blue and purple. Good for removing Paint and rust on light metal such as auto body
Strip-It discs open coat design quickly cleans surfaces without loading or damage to the parent material. Strip-It discs are made from a tough synthetic fibre impregnated with abrasive grit and are a safer alternative to wire bristle tools. These unique discs provide fast cutting action with virtually no heat build-up.
Applications include: removal of paint, rust, scale, seam sealers, undercoating, powder coat, oxidation (tire rims and brake assemblies), and cleaning welds (truck beds and door frames)
