Remove moderate amounts of material on soft metals and stainless steel by using the Merit Surface Prep A/O coarse grit TP (Type I) non-woven quick-change disc. An ideal disc for weld blending, it offers a high-loft nylon fiber and a rugged backing designed to withstand tough applications. When used on high-nickel content alloys, the Clean Bond technology ensures a smooth, smear-free finish. With its aluminum oxide abrasive grain coating, this disc offers cut rates up to 20 percent higher than comparable products with up to 50 percent better overall performance.
