Their special bond differs from conventional bonded abrasives which enables them to grind and finish metals at the same time. GFX Bond GFX bond is designed for fine finishing, blending and polishing applications on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. GFX bond is resilient for use on contours and resists loading. These wheels are ideal for stainless steel applications. MTX Bond MTX Bond is designed for light or medium weld removal. MTX bond is resilient for use on contours and flat surfaces. User can easily control cutting rates by amount of pressure applied. They resist loading and offer excellent finishes for grinding aluminum and other ferrous materials. They are excellent on aluminum.

AA-Flex Wheels (Dimple Wheels), Type 27 & Type 29 AA-Flex wheels offer one step grinding and finishing. They are constructed of aluminum oxide grains bonded to a strong, slightly flexible fiberglass reinforcing and have dimples on the grinding surface. AA-Flex wheels will remove stock much like a resin bond depressed center wheel and finish like a resin fiber disc. Excellent on stainless steel and aluminum.
